ENGAGEMENT: COURTNEY & GREG

What do you say about someone who is like a sister to your own sister? Someone who has become family to your family because some relationships are just that way? Courtney has been around the Maxwell family as a best friend to my sister since as long as I can remember and it has been a pleasure to watch their friendship evolve. And I think it's safe to say that we couldn't be happier for Courtney and Greg as prepare to get married in Mexico this August. Mexico! Which is exactly what we were all imagining as we set out to take their engagement photos on the coldest day in January in Detroit.

Engagement: Julianne & TJ, Kensignton Park in Milford, Michigan

Meet Nora. She is the proud beagle of humans Julianne and TJ and she'd like to introduce you to their engagement photos taken at Kensington Metro Park.

I suppose I should also mention that Julianne is my little sister! Julianne and TJ were recently engaged on an annual camping trip in Petoskey, Michigan, and our family couldn't be happier!

Engagement: Bridget & Brian, Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan

Meet Bridget and Brian. They are very close friends of my very favorite sister, Julianne. Bridget and Brian are planning a summer wedding and wanted to capture their engagement in photos that we shot at Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan. Although we weren't the only people taking advantage of the island for photos that night, we were granted with beautiful light and some pretty nice photos, too!
